Qajakkut aspires to build upon the Inuit ingenuity and engineering that developed over the course of many thousands of years. They aim to take advantage of these skills to return the knowledge of building qajait to our communities.

Alaska Native Birthworkers Community is comprised of Indigenous birthworkers providing free culturally matched care for Native birthing families.Their vision is to see our communities reconnected to birth through reclamation of ancestral knowledge and exercising sovereignty from birth.

Kuskokwim River Inter-tribal Fish Commission
The Kuskokwim River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission (KRITFC), established in 2015, is a Tribal and rural co-management body serving the entirety of the Kuskokwim River watershed, as well as six coastal villages outside the mouth of the Kuskokwim River.
The Yukon River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission
The Yukon River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission is composed of 44-member Tribal Governments, authorized by tribal resolution, whose mission is to protect the health and well-being of our people, our future generations, and all Alaskans and Canadians who rely on the health of our salmon.
Kuicuat Sustainability Forum
The Kuicuat Sustainability Forum gathers community leaders from Quinhagak, Goodnews Bay and Platinum to identify and advance their priorities related to resilience, infrastructure, and culture and language perpetuation.
Bering Sea Interior Tribal Commission
The Bering Sea Interior Tribal Commission advocates on behalf of 42 tribes for conservation, restoration, and the sustainability of their lands and watersheds.

Igiugig Village Council serves Igiugig, a self-sufficient village with strong cultural and environmental values. The mission of IVC is to provide resources, programs, and infrastructure to enhance the community's quality of life.
Pirurvik Preschool
Pirurvik Preschool Society is an Inuit-led, community-based nonprofit organization in Mittimatalik (Pond Inlet), Nunavut, recognized for its leadership and innovation in culturally grounded early childhood education.
Inotsiavik
Inotsiavik's, meaning "a place to live well," mission is to revitalize Inuttut language and Inuit cultural practices by creating safe, accessible, and welcoming spaces for Nunatsiavummiut of all ages to learn, practice, and connect. Their vision is a thriving Nunatsiavut where Inuit ways of life are lived daily and carried into future generations.
Tumikuluit Saipaaqivik
Tumikuluit is an Inuktitut immersion early learning and childcare center. The centre aims to preserve Inuktitut by providing culture-based learning and early language development in Inuktitut.
Tahiuqtiit Society
The organization advances self-determination, gender equality, and community well-being by strengthening Inuit cultural knowledge, leadership, and collective voice.
Ittaq - Angunasuktiit
With Inuit knowledge and the land anchoring in their approaches, Ittaq Heritage & Research Centre has grown over the years, with ongoing programs and accomplishments in research, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, environmental monitoring, creative multimedia, culture & heritage work, land-based programming, and community action.

Association of Saami Reindeer Herding Co-operatives
The purpose of the association is to promote and protect the rights and interests of the Saami reindeer herding co-operatives and its reindeer herders.

Svenska Samernas Riksförbund's mission centers on preserving and promoting the rights and traditions of the Sámi people, with a particular emphasis on reindeer husbandry, which is integral to Sámi culture and identity.

Who can apply?
Inuit communities and organizations with non profit status across Inuit Nunaat can apply for funding programs. You don’t need to be a registered charity or have a long track record — we’re here to reduce barriers. Individuals can apply for the fellowship program once launched.
What funding opportunities are currently open?
We’re launching our “Learning and Exchange” funding opportunity fall 2025. The Inuit Self Determination Fund is by invite only. The Inuit Fellowship program will launch in 2026. Sign up for updates to be notified.
What kind of funding does INF offer?
INF offers several types of funding, including General Operating, Existing Program, New or Pilot Program, Expanding Program (scope and/or region), and Capacity Building.
